In the 4th century CE, the Emperor Flavius Claudius Julian Augustus attempted to restore non-Christian religion into Roman culture.
Juliana is a PhD student in New Testament and early Christian studies and a practicing polytheist Pagan. Her academic interests focus on the reflections of Roman-period Mediterranean culture in early Christian development and texts. The rest of the time she plays video games, reads Terry Pratchett and JRR Tolkein, makes random crafty things, and plays with her dog. She is a regular participant in her local CUUPs chapter and an occasional attendee at her local ADF grove and OBOD seed group.
Juliana’s primary deities are Hermes, who is the closest thing in the Greek pantheon to a god of graduate students, and Persephone, who is very quiet most of the time but knows how to get her point across.
